Our Lodge sits just steps away from Alaska’s famous inside passage in the idyllic town of Coffman Cove. The Cove is located on the northeast coast of the breathtakingly beautiful Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska. The area is well known as a fisherman’s paradise. The salmon runs are abundant throughout the summer and into the early fall. Halibut, cod, and yellow eye are caught regularly just a few minutes from the docks. Delicious Dungeness Crabs are prolific in the waters around the Cove (we have crab pots available for use). The nearby rivers and lakes are popular for fresh water fishing. The Lodge makes an ideal base for hunting black bear and the Sitka black tail deer in the fall. You can rent a boat for a self-guided adventure or hire a local guide.
All of the community amenities are within walking distance of the Lodge; including a well-stocked convenience store and restaurant, a local watering hole, the library (with free internet), the harbor and a beach park.
Every place needs one, some one who can fix anything. From tackle and reels to motors and, well anything.
Just like in tax season, Jake will never miss a deduction, when it comes to Alaska fishing he will never miss a chance to break away from the grind and land a couple monsters or get into the crab!
